We always pride ourselves on listening to feedback from our finalists and whenever possible, working with their suggestions and ideas, so with this in mind we are sure the following announcement will be an exciting opportunity for you all. For our upcoming events and 2017 finals, it has been decided to take our fundraising in our new direction. We understand that many contestants have causes close to their hearts and are passionate about supporting these. Therefore, for all future fundraisers, contestants are able to choose their own registered charities and raise money for them directly. This will enable the hard work of our contestants to benefit a wider range of good causes worldwide. Face Of The Globe contestants have done an incredible amount of work in supporting the Rainbow Child Foundation over the past few years, and we are excited to see this new development take the contestants fundraising to a new level.

We have updated our charity guide to provide you with information on setting up your own fundraising page and the usual tips and ideas on organising your own events. Fundraising pages on sites such as JustGiving.com and Virgin Money Giving provide the opportunity for you to share your target and totals with friends, family and colleagues, and also keep them updated with your plans and information on your chosen cause. UK donations can also claim gift aid, and every penny donated via these pages will go directly to your nominated charity.

Any upcoming events and ideas you may have can be used to raise funds for your chosen registered charity, and any funds already raised for the Rainbow Child Foundation will still count towards your Miss Charity award, simply by bringing a print out of your fundraising page to registration.

We are sure that this will be very welcomed and add some extra passion behind your fundraising when working with causes that mean so much to you.
