Between 2nd-8th April, finalists from all over the World, competed in the grand finals of Face Of The Globe 2016. The pageant saw finalists attend numerous events over the week in both London and Paris, accumulating in a spectacular finale in Disneyland Paris.

The week long celebrations began with orientation, welcome lunch, rehearsals and a themed Spriing Fling Ball in London. Followed by our finalists Pyjama Party featuring  Robin Windsor from BBCs Strictly Come Dancing who gave a dance tutorial to our queens. Finalists and guests were treated to a giant pink chocolate fountain and complimentary candy cart buffet from Candy Cartwheels, plus free fun photo booth.

The actitivies continued the following day with a fun ‘Fit Camp’ starting with Block Fit class with Chico Slimani before narrowing down to the top ten from each of our four age groups who were then put through their paces with our fitness experts to determine the winner of the Miss Fitness award.

On Monday 4th April, finalists each gave their speech to introduce themselves to the judges and audience on stage. Finalists as young as 5 years old all spoke independently, demonstrating the inspirational stories behind each of our finalists of all ages, and allowed the judges to learn more about their personalities and backgrounds. The evening was followed by a face to face interviews with our panels, and photocall with Paul Carroll for the Miss Photogenic award, concluding our process in London.

On 5th April, the competition moved over to France where all finalists checked in to Disney’s Hotel New York, Disneyland Paris, and headed to the Disney Village for Buffalo Bills Wild West show inclusive of 4 course meal and live performance with appearances from Mickey Mouse and his gang!

Following a full day in the Disneyland park, the ultimate final and Talent Show came on Thursday 7th April in Disneys Times Square Arena with live performances from X Factor star Chico and the Shane Richie Junior Band, presented by our host and comedian Stuart Holdham.

Other special guests for the week also included top USA pageant coach Kyle Ean Haggerty and founder of the The Pageant Planet, Steven Roddy.

After tough deliberation, and a fond farewell to our outstanding 2015 queens Sofia, Georgia, Chloe and Amy, the judging panel selected Zahlee Moore  as our Mini Face Of The Globe winner, Georgia Potts as our Junior winner, Emily Martin for Teen Face Of The Globe and Erin Stanfield as Face Of The Globe 2016.
