Occupation/Subjects studying at school/college: Ishini currently goes to and art school and is taking Social studies 20-1, Language arts 20-1, Mathematics 20-2, Science 20-2, Advanced Concert Choir 20, and Jazz Dance 20 during school. Ishini made 3 castings in school, she made Ladies Jazz choir, Bridges a Catalyst play directed by Jonathan Christenson and Laura Krewski, and the school musical Once on this Island, all done after school and on weekends.

What are you favourite hobbies and why?: Ishini has a crazy passion for the arts and includes herself in many art configurations as possible, she has private lessons for vocals and piano. Since she was little music has been a huge part of Ishini’s life whether its from singing to dancing or playing instruments she expresses her passion where ever she goes. Ishini also loves drawing, and modeling.

What is your biggest ambition?: Although Ishini loves the arts she also wants to make and investment in her education and go to law school to become a humanitarian or corporate lawyer. Ishini will still continue her arts stream and stay connected to the arts community wherever her career may lead.

Charity you would nominate to receive 10% of our fundraising if you are the highest fundraiser, and your reasons why (Please include a web link to the charity if you have it): Ishini would like give the 10% to the Dream Project in Dominican Republic because she has worked with them on a missions trip. At age 14 Ishini traveled to Dominican Republic on a mission’s trip and worked with this organization, and they left quite an impact on her.

Languages Spoken or would like to learn: Ishini speaks English, Sinhalese, Korean, Japanese, and intermediate French. She would like to learn Mandarin, German, and Spanish.

Countries you have visited: Ishini has visited Sri Lanka, Thailand, China, Dominican Republic, United States of America, and Canada.

Favourite Disney movie and why: Ishini’s favorite Disney movie is “Dumbo” because it gave her an impression of how imperfections can’t hold you down until you realized imperfections can help you soar and be the unique you; you’re meant to be.
